У Ковентрійському соборі відбулося молитовне чування з нагоди 4-ї річниці повномасштабного вторгнення Росії в Україну.

Понад 250 людей зібралися разом, щоб вшанувати пам’ять тисяч невинних жертв цієї жорстокої та безглуздої війни, а також спільно молитися за мир в Україні.

Це чування стало знаком солідарності з українським народом, виявом живої пам’яті про всіх загиблих, постраждалих, полонених, зниклих безвісти та всіх, хто щоденно несе тягар війни. Учасники зібрання єдналися в молитві за упокій душ полеглих, за потіху для тих, хто оплакує своїх рідних, і за якнайшвидше настання справедливого миру для України.

У цей день ми з особливою вдячністю і болем згадуємо всіх захисників, хто віддав своє життя за волю України. Їхня жертва не буде забута.

Ніколи не забудемо їх, і нехай мир якнайшвидше повернеться в Україну.

4th Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine

A prayer vigil was held at Coventry Cathedral to mark the 4th anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

More than 250 people gathered together to honour the memory of the thousands of innocent victims of this cruel and senseless war, and to pray for peace in Ukraine.

The vigil became a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people and a living expression of remembrance for all those who have been killed, wounded, taken prisoner, gone missing, or continue to bear the daily burden of war. Those present united in prayer for the repose of the souls of the fallen, for comfort for those mourning their loved ones, and for the swift coming of a just peace for Ukraine.

On this day, with deep gratitude and sorrow, we remember all the defenders who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

We will never forget them, and may peace return to Ukraine as soon as possible.
